Yeah - if you had the Dynaudio without the RNS510, it should be $1300.
Having said that, if you'd already signed the contract, then it's a done deal really. It'd be nice of you to resign a contract to fix their mistake! So I hope they treat you well come delivery time

I think it is a bit rich for them to be making you pay for a pricing error thay have made.

I have a friend who bought himself a Breitling watch as a present to himself for a large commission he received a few years back.

he went to store in the city, pick out the watch and paid his $6,500 and drove back to his office.
When he returned to his office their was a message to call the Watch store manager.
He called straight away and the manager said a mistake had been made with the watch and he asked if he could return to the store so that his Tax invoice could be adjusted to reflect the correct model number he actually purchased.
The manager stated that the sales person had made a mistake and Quoted a lower priced model when he was in the store.
the manager said that the store would honour the purchase price but he needed to adjust the invoice and warranty papers so that it truly refelected the watch he purchased.
My friend asked what the true retail price of the watch was and the manager coughed once and told him $13,000.

Nice story, but the moral is if you have an agreed price everyone should honour it.

My friend is an extremely ethical guy and agreed to pay the store their cost price for the watch ($7,300) for which they were extremely grateful, i dont know how many wouold have offered to do that ( i dont know if i would).

Thing is the contract states that any prices can change throughout the time you are waiting for the car. Black and white....I'll fish it out and quote it later....

thankfully its only $300.

however you could argue that in fact it isnt a price rise, as the price is the same as it was 6 months ago., and the reason you decided on that option was that it was $1,000. They are being dishonest saying it is a price rise, when in fact they made a mistake on the order form, being dishonest isn't a good way to start a dealer/client relationship.
At the end ofthe day, me thinks they will wear it.

Anyway, well done on the order and hang in there with the wait.

I got quoted $59,500 for 5 Door DSG, options 19", ACC, Bluetooth, leather and $1740 for the VW factory extended warranty, is this a good price? Should i get the sun roof? i have a sun roof in my current car, rarely use it. i know people say it adds value to resale, but i am planning on keeping this car for at least 6 years.

Sounds pretty good, run it through the price calculator. Not sure why you want a VW factory extended warranty. Meh I dont care for sunroof it is a personal thing. If you didnt use it much in the last car dont get it now. As for resale, options just make it more saleable not make it more valuable..

That's within a few hundred of my price but i had the Dynaudio upgrade and tinted windows added to that spec. But i also had a corporate discount deducted, is this included in your price? If not, then it's pretty good.

Thinking about a Golf R

I currently have a 2009 MKV GTI and my change-over is now only a year away. I have been thinking about a few cars to get but now have the new Golf R at the top of my list.

Thinking about the following mods:

Golf R 5 Door - 6 speed Manual
Electric Glass Sunroof
Satelite Navigation with Dynaudio 300W Premium Audio
Media Device Interface
Rear View Camera
Vienna Leather Upholstery
VW Bluetooth
19" Wheels

Anyone have one in a similar package? If so what would I be looking at paying?

$63k for mine. But people have also posted in that thread what their configurations are, and how much they paid. It's good to get an idea of what you should be paying, and how much room there is for negotiations.
