Test drove and ordered mine today, great. Went for DSG in the end, ACC, Leather, Stereo upgrade, Bluetooth and music thingy all in Rising Blue.

Well ordered LS.
Now, grab a chair, find an ugly dog and embrace a feeling only 'the wait' will bring. You, like us all (those who have not taken what was offered off the showroom floor) will find an inner strength known as 'patience'. This concept was new to me as it is with most males. With practise, I have found this 'patience' can be used elsewhere in life, such as wife, kids, the Labour party and DSG. So not only will you be getting a fantastic car, built for you to your specs, you will learn one of the great virtues in life... so enjoy the ride in its' entirety.

Citroen Xsara VTS's are dirt cheap for what they are though...

Kids are the next project lads, the missus and I have been speccing one up and test driving our mates recently...Not a big fan of the exhaust fumes.....

Thanks for the nice words, i've had a Polo GTI for the last three years and everyone has been very helpful here. I have a sticker in the back of the car and I remember fondly the only time I ever got waved at by a fellow watercooler and nearly wrapped it round a traffic light...

I am a very patient fellow so I have the order form tucked away now and will go about my daily business working hard to pay for it.

Seems that Vic dealer is really trying it on using the immediate delivery carrot...

My R was supposed to here in March, I have now extracted a late April / early May guesstimate from them.

I am not desperate enough to cough up 90k... yet... LOL
