I've now decided on my spec. Rising Blue, Manual, Leather, 5 Doors, Stereo upgrade, Bluetooth, RVC, ACC. MDI.

Now to begin the quote process, what fun...I need it by November so plenty of time??!!

SAAP Auto on Broadway opposite Sydney Uni has one in their warehouse. Stunning bit of kit.

Chatting with my sales guy today about some other stuff he mentioned that the rate things are going, it will blow out to 12mths for deliveries as they just can't get enough order/build slots.

I got told Oct 15 by the latest when I ordered.

I picked it up 8 Dec.

The wait kills you, but it is worth it, most complete car I have owned, and nothing comes close in the price range.

People talk about some of these new alternative FWD hot hatches which are all about loud performance.. Sorta reminds me of the days when the MY99 WRX was the hottest thing out and was on the cover of every magazine.

They were quicker than a Porsche at the time.

On the upside, I'll sell my car long before then. So I'll have to buy a cheap car to run around in.

That means the R will feel even better when I finally pick it up.

Ahh geez - you guys aren't giving me much hope. I ordered mine in Dec, but I'm still waiting for a slot. If I don't have a slot now (or getting one soon), what does that mean? I'm looking at a 2013 delivery date? lol.

hmmm December order.. I would hazard a guess August this year

Mine was a December order and I've been given an indicative August/September. Don't have a slot yet, but that is where it should sit.
