Another happy camper

Got my clip fitted this morning at Barloworld Glen Waverley.
Only took an hour all up.
No test drive before or after, so drove away initially a bit nervous as mine had definitely got louder over the last 18 mths.
Radio off, initially heard same familiar noise only slightly.....oh nooooo, about to turn around and go back but drove a bit further and then nothing......noise gone!

Kept testing rest of my 30 min drive home, noise FREE....
It's going to take a couple of drives to sink in that it's really gone but finally the car is how it should have been on day one

Mine was the same... 8 - 12.
They said it needed to cool down before they could get in there to fit the clip.

I've just picked it up, and its rattle free.
not exciting, not amazing... just free of rattles.
Like it always should've been.

T Go, which dealership are you using? Osborne Park still havent got my clip in. At least i haven't heard from them yet, emailed the service manager today. Last word was they should've been in three weeks ago.

Picked her up today with new clip installed. Much better, though I did notice a slight rattle still when I backed out of the drive this afternoon under some load. But it is miles better than before and now I can clearly hear the turbo whine and the burbles.

It took awhile for them to get them in also. I think I was the first person to get it done. They said they hadn't had too many customers request it.

Osborne Park still havent got my clip in.

don't say this, my car is going in for the 15kkm on Tuesday and i got them to order the clip at least 2 months ago. If I have to hear that F'in rattle any longer I'm gonna stop driving the car. Sounds like a right POS, it's shameful.

I've just picked up my car as well. (First car to have the clip fitted at Chatswood Classic apparently) and I agree it's much improved. Not 100% gone, I think I hear something around the 2000rpm mark - only lasts a second compared to rattling like crazy as the engine spins up - and definitely nowhere near as loud as before.
