Fuchs is a good oil. Been around for years.
If your tdi has a dpf then you need a 507 spec oil. Neither oil you mentioned reaches that spec. The oil Umai linked to is the correct one.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

On a side note, I'm after liqui moly top tec 4200 which meets 504/507 standards. Anyone know Where's a cheap place to buy it from? Looked at autobarn and it is retailing at close to 110 bucks. Thanks

It's good stuff. Been using it in customer's cars for 3 years.
Would recommend the 4100 in the later TSI motors though. Seems to slow down the rate of oil consumption considerably.'07 Transporter 1.9 TDI

TDI is 4200 only.
Petrol engines can run 4100, or 4200.'07 Transporter 1.9 TDI

Guys, just a heads-up for anyone who is thinking of ordering from the above mentioned website. It seems like the seller's website is not really secure. Last week, I bought liquimoly oil from them and checked out using PayPal. Today, I received a genuine looking email from "PaVpal" requesting me to log on and complete a form as my account was accessed from Singapore which was not true. If you click on the link it takes you to pavpal and not the real PayPal website. Just be careful.
