Does anyone have or can take a pic of the 19 in Talladega's in silver on the Golf R, i know they look just look 18s only 1 inch bigger but am keen to see what they look like, the only confirmed pics ive managed to find have been in the black.

If anyone has them on their R feel free to chime in and let me know what the ride is like etc

BTW, when I was picking up the Polo today, we checked NADCON again. My R has been delayed again @#$!@#

About a month ago, handover to production was 04/09/10. As of today it's 25/09/10. Which blows the arrival at final port from 22/11/10 to 06/12/10

As I've said numerous times, too much information is often a bad thing. If we had no idea about NADCON nor how to track the car with the VIN etc, the dealers would just say "It'll be 6 months give or take 2, I'll call you when it docks in the country" and that'd be it. It's how it's worked for decades with imported cars and people survived. Now with the internet and all this extra knowledge, is it really making anyone happier? hehe

Congrats on the Polo! I haven't had the chance to drive one of them with the DSG yet, but even with the manual they are a great car

HAHA yep. I live like 5 mins from there. Joined the gym last tuesday. Even saw a blue one there with the 18s a while ago which you may have seen yourself.

Even still I have only seen probably about 7 since release on the road. Cant wait for mine. I got told today Im on track for 15/11 final destination - at this stage and then add a 10 days for delivery.

How is it so far?

That sucks. Why the delays? Mine is on time sort of - looking for 15/11/10, then delivery timers. I dont have a sunroof?

Got a NADCON update from my dealer today too, handover on the 9/10/10, ETA at the dealers on 29/12/10. Oh the pain...

I don't know what the delay is, i paid a visit to my dealer yestarday to get my new tracking report and he has no idea why either.

In my case, I reckon it's cos I sent the VWA bigwigs nasty emails when they said they weren't bring out a 3 door hehe
