Very nice .... That's certainly made me think - would I have prefered it to the RB I've ordered .....

Sitting in Dermots office I had every intension of purchasing the Candy white 3 door Golf R with black 19" rims but my partner managed to talk me out of it and settled with RB. RB is nice but that white does look hot and scratches won’t show up as much, now I have some regrets stupid woman!

So the black on black on black Golf R must be a Darth Vadar.

And all rising blue are being referred to as Max Rebo (the blue keyboard player).

Dealer just emailed me. My R, which was ordered on the 13th of August now has now been allocated a production date of week 5 = Feb 2011.

Bad news is that delivery has been pushed out to May . Could have made a baby in that time.

Dealer rang earlier toaday and my GTi will be ready on Tuesday afternoon..
Lakin plates organised via dealer fit and OEM plate adapter removed free of charge..

Updated the pic thread (link). There was a white and a black 5dr waiting to be collected. White one had to wait for finance but the black one has apparently been sitting there for a couple days waiting to be picked up. For shame!!!

Well I have just collected my new R... definitely worth the wait. I've only driven 6km back to the office so far. Love the Blue with Black wheels.

yeah the black and white is a good contrast. Can't wait to see my United Grey R looks in the flesh. Haven't seen that many photos of them yet.

UG is the best colour. I have heaps of photos I have posted in the picture thread. From the back the LED contrast so well it's awesome. I think blue from the front.

Couldn't leave you hanging mate. Did about 100km's tonight, bastards musn't have given me much fuel cos I had the red light come on as I got home hehe. I am honestly in no hurry to update ECU/exhaust or anything. The thing is an absolute blast and makes a good noise if you ask me! Had been a while since the last test drive

Cool! Yeah I was initially leaning towards the rising blue but my Mrs was adamant that UG was the best and she usually has pretty good taste when it comes to the finer things in life lol, so who was I to argue! Glad we went with the UG now tho! Roll on mid Jan!!
