The official I have ordered/received my new MKVI thread

After nearly three years of trouble free motoring with the MY07 GTI, the time has come for me to change.
Ordered yetserday through my lease company:

MkVI Golf R, 5dr, DSG, Rising Blue, Recaro Sport seats, ACC, MDI, Dynaudio sound system.
Waiting for confirmation of delivery date. Hopefully not 6 months as other threads have hinted at.

Then a quick trip to APR in East Brissie for stage 1.

Congrats Rickardo. If you get into one of the week ~37/38 build slots, then you'll receive the car around November 30th. If you miss that group, then it could be Jan that you receive the car. That's the current info we're running on anyway...

It's only been two weeks, so yes, that is normal.
You may have a chance to be included in the week ~37 to 40 builds (Sep) which will give you a late Nov to Christmas delivery....

Hey that sounds awesome.. have you considered the bluetooth? Its now going to be factory installed and flush. Functionality for the $550 option is similar to the currently available "premium" bluetooth. Worth it IMO and if your waiting anyway..

I would question the "Premium Bluetooth". That was a ~$2200 dealer fitted accessory. It has now been replaced by a $550 factory fitted option (9ZB) for the MY11 models, which your car would definitely be if you have to wait for 4 to 5 months.
Mats are a standard feature, so not really sure what you've got listed. So putting int he $550 bluetooth, and removing the jacket, umbrella, boot liner and fuel - and taking out the lease from the equation, that car would be $51,564 with regular black on white plates (for a driver with a good history and of age 40). The discount given is therefore 9.24% plus whatever those freebies are. Which is a good deal.

No, not just yet. The mob up the highway from you took 6 weeks to give me a build date, and 4 months to actually deliver my car.
