I don't think you read what he wrote. His original ETA was oct, now they told him mid july, but the car is in country so he's hoping sooner.

As you could probably tell by my response, I saw it wrong. I can tell you, If my car planned for OCT ends up coming in JULY, I will have sex with the whole dealership.

Took my car for it's first 'proper' drive today

Some moron in sometihng cheap and nasty tried to take me at the lights heading out of Gosford.
I hadn't noticed him at first and certainly had no intention of racing him.... but the lights went green and his front wheels started spinning in the wet.
So I showed him how it was meant to be done (thank you XDL )

I see at least one every day. Only have to look in my garage. Have seen a few around though.

Must admit, since I have been out and about on the roads a lot more lately, I am impressed with the number of Mark V GTI's running around.

Not ready for an Adelaide met yet - my GTI is filthy having been up in the Barossa for RallySA on the weekend. Will have to find time to wash it this week.

Actually out and about today and saw 2 white GTI's in the space of a minute in the city - and no not the same one unless he could break speed records.
