I got my Mk6 GTi last monday after a torturous 6 month wait!

Fantastic car - so much more powerful than my previous Mazda 3 SP23. And from the looks of things - use less fuel too! Im driving her carefully (keeping below 3500rpm) until i've clocked 500km - then ill start pushing her a bit.

I ordered the car with HID, so I'm loving the Daytime running lights on the MY11 build. makes her look mean

Yep. They look great. thirdwill probably has the first ones in OZ.

So I was planing on picking up the Golf R today from the dealer. Jsut got a call, apparently they can't release it as they are unable to get the ECU out of "Transport mode" The workshop computer has to go away and won't be back till Monday at the earliest...(kill me)

Just go in with a laptop and VCDS and disable it yourself LOL
