Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      Fitted and configured (on Sunday) an OBD-II scanner to use with DashCommand on my AppRadio.

        I got them installed by faststuff.com
        Master dealer of APR in Melbourne

        Owner Dean they charged $130 per hour if you have your own product to install give him a call

                  Modified my UB unibrace to fit. When I fitted the hi-flow cats, it was hitting as they are not made to be centred on the car. I still need to remove it and give it a nice coat of paint to make it look nice for ants.

                    Changed discs and pads. New rear remsa pads and dba t2 discs. Finding a triple square socket was so hard. Went to 8 different shops in Canberra until I found someone that stocked them.



                    And installed new AUX and USB buttons, I will be upgrading to a RCD510 next week so those two will plug into that

                      Hearing a repeated knock everytime I used my wipers... My mistake was leaving it, which resulted in a cracked windscreen.

                      So today I removed my wipers and cowl and found the problem... Loose assembly! Tightened nuts and now all good... Besides the cracked windscreen!

                            Yes dutch my missus will be taking this to the dyno day and ill be taking my mk4 if my engine conversion works out!
