You know how if we leave our indicator on and turn the car off and leave it, then that side will have the headlight and taillight on? Happens in MK5s too. Saw one parked on the side of the road at night with the same thing...no-one in the car and locked.

In my 97 Golf CL, the "Bitchin' Betty" buzzer will buzz at me furiously when I turn off the ignition with the indicator on, I assume it is to make sure that you are doing that on purpose and not by accident. I have not tried it in the 07 Golf TDI yet (it is a recent addition to our family).1997 Golf CL, 2011 Caddy Life TDI, 2007 Golf TDI, 1996 Vento GL (red), 2008 Skoda Octavia TDI

hey is it normal for the front top strut mount plate to move a bit in the VR6 if you're parked on an incline or if there are different loads on each wheel (ie, wheels turned, road not flat etc)
Asking because just noticed that while looking under the hood whilst car is parked diagonally on my inclined driveway that the front left and right strut mount plates are at different heights in relation to the strut towers on the body.
Is this normal and is just the rubber strut mounts compressing/flexing?2010 Jetta 125TDi DSG

ah ok i suppose they would eh, since there's just a rubber mount so thanks for confirming.
on another note, my washer bottle keeps draining it self after a week or 2.
There are no obvious leaks and it doesn't seem like the seal at the bottom where the pump is faulty either.
Any ideas?2010 Jetta 125TDi DSG
