I've got a problem I can't seem to find a fix for, I attached a new rad support panel (when I had the crash) which came with the bonnet latch attached, but when I attached the bonnet onto the original paint lines and drop it down, It locks and unlocks fine but there is 10mm of up and down play in the bonnet before it sits flush.
I've already bottomed out the bonnet springs, tried bottoming out the latch and tried lifting the hood higher but it doesn't seem to want to sit completely down flush and there's still movement.
Are there different bonnet latches between models?
Is maybe the bonnet I got flexed?
Any help would be great cheersMk3 2.0. Mk3 VR6 CC. Future Mk2?

Do timing chains get adjusted or replaced? I was under the impression that they didn't need Changi g as frequently as belts. Is this false?Mk IV Golf GTI - BMP - GIAC chip, R32 wheels, KW coilovers, rear swaybar.
