I drove my mk1 back from Melbourne on a UVP. Just required a NSW Blue Slip and was able to get registration. It's not very difficult.

Just noticed a random yellow connector behind the drivers side head light which has nothing plugged into it. Any idea on what this is?

Not driven back but I got my VR6 from Victoria on a truck and just got previous owner to cancel rego and take the money they get back off the price of the car then just got a roadie and rego in QLD.

No, rears only light up when the car is running and they are pretty dim. Fronts are really bright though. Always thought it was weird or could just be my car.

Currently. 205/40/17. Matches OEM size. Looks the goods.

Dim green yeah.

Just called up VW parts to ask for some touch up paint and have been told that it will be at least 3 weeks from germany for some LC3T Indian Red

Imo you would be best off getting 25 or 50ml of paint from a paint supplier that can match the paint directly off your car as it probably has faded a little by now.
