You sure about that?
Rotor should be sucking the air from the center of the hub outwards by creating -ve pressure at the outer edge so the internal vanes should be in the same direction as the slots. Slot direction should be doing the same to the brake dust and, more importantly, increasing brake response under heavy braking by moving air out and away from the brake/rotor surface area, not building up pressure at the inner edge of the brake pad and therefore forcing the pad away from the disk.
