one of a few things going on but this is almost complete..... battery relocation to the boot to free up the engine bay with the addition of a kill switch, because i'm a wanka and I like circuit monsters..... haha
I wanted the kill switch somewhere accessible by the driver, as it should be. I had a few ideas but this seemed best; I blanked off the air vent (unfinished) and welded in the mount for the switch....
Excuse the contrast wipe out :/
There's a spot in the boot of the cabby where I think the first aid kit goes, which is perfect for the battery's new home. Had to make this "adapter" since once I secured the battery to the panel, I couldn't then access the original screws to fix the panel to the car :/ haha, so I made this up to space out the mounts
And voila! mounted and connected up
Also thinking of installing an oil temp gauge in the spot beside the switch but can't find one I want Want it to look oem (silver face, orange needle), be digital or electric full sweep.... any suggestions will be taken!
p.s. excuse the missing speaker grills, it's a work in progress also......
Thanks Ant but I don't want machanical and I want a full sweep gauge :p
Thinking I might just stay stealth and go all black with one but for the moment i'm going to give it a miss I think. I saw an electronic gauge in action for the oil pressure and as nice as it is having such an accurate reading, it's also annoying having the digits jumping and changing all the time :/ So might stick with the traditional needle sweep gauges....
