not sure I follow, the cut off is the height isn't it? you said you swapped the internals to make them kick up to the left instead of the right no?..... also how is your american lights fitting to our euro support?!
yeah basically to my understanding the cut off is the straight line on the main beam and has a 90degree L at the start on australian headlights that kind of looks like this ( \______ ) but on the american headlights the cut of is like this _____/ this bit ( \ ) focuses on the footpaths on our roads. you can actually see your cut off line when you come up close to a wall or a garage door . the headlight housings are the same its only the cut off line/beam that changes.
but even though i turned the cut off line plates inside the headlight its still not 100% and my main beam focus is not in centre but more on footpaths if that makes sense . i think im going to buy the original dual beam headlights if i cant fix them

yeh k, well as a general rule oem is best when it comes to euro styling so go that route when you can

yea thats what i was thinking and im over my hid setup the car has enough attention as it is. also my yellow block fogs are horrible im going back to oem with those might just get the dark tinted indicator and reflectors and yellow tinted oem fogs .

ok, they're finished, but haven't got any completed/on the car pics but I can say that the light output ABSOLUTELY ****S ALL OVER THE OG DUALS! swapped out all the same bulbs too..... My girl never recognises anything I do but she recognised the difference in light output.... god love her..... haha

I hate the whole "two circle look" that the usual painted aftermarket headlights have so I painted mine a lil different to try keep the dual oem look a lil......

                  some during pics....

Cleaned up the spray bombed lenses....

masked up.... from this you can see what I painted...

cleaned up the bolts....foreground is the original dirty ones obviously..

Will get some pics up tonight or tomorrow of them on the car, still undecided if I like them 100%, need a proper look at them..... can always pull them back apart....

Also, a tip, use BLACK sealant, not white....I tried using some white sealant we had in the garage to save buying a new tube but it looked terrible, so I had to trip it to the shops headligh-less........ lol

yes the "stance" isn't dialed in because i'm yet to pull them off for their reco.... just laziness and I love them on the car too much :/

sooo, everyone likes pictures! had some time to kill and thought i'd take some pics at the local shopping centre, not the best quality since it was near pitch dark, except for 3minutes when security turned on the lights to see me (I think)...shame they didn't stay on.....

you can sorta see my completed headlights and their output.... I think i've pulled off what I intended which was to avoid the whole twin circle look the blacked out ones usually have and retain the oem-ish dual look with the inner round high beam.......
