hey mate you can also hold onto the shock shaft with a set of vise grips up the top below the top hat, if thats all you can do and your not going to used them. and your car looks great

DVR68U, i tired the whole vice grips onto the shaft, but it just kept slipping. The top bolts were sooo damn stuck on there, even after soaking in WD40 for a few hours

Front lip is getting killed atm. Scrapes on everything no matter how slow I go over some of the driveways or speedhumps!

I had the same problem with my ones - wanted to reuse the stock mounts but there was no way of getting the nut off, so ended up replacing them instead.

Thats the plan. I did raise it up a bit, but after settling down again its still too low! Looks awsome but yeah, not practical. Didnt have time today to put it up some more so ill do it soon!

Get the right balance and then get the alignment done. Light wheel alignement in the city are better than any bob jane etc

Yeah thats the plan. Will play around with it some more this weekend and they get an allignment next week. Its not to bad atm, doesnt pull to either side, but the steering wheel is slightly off centre again. Theres a good Bridgestone centre up here in Mt Barker that ive heard do a good job, alot of my mates go there for their drift car allignments, so ill prolly head up there as theyre closest. Cheers for the heads up tho Robin.

Time for some new tyres anyway so ill get the whole lot done at once. Cant afford new rims yet which sucks, but what can ya do!

Well I might be picking up a set of wheels this weekend, as long as my pay cheque is decent enough this week!
Will need a redrill to 4x100, but doesnt bother me too much!

Coilovers are going well, just need to sort out a squeaking problem thats coming from the back struts, hoping its just my rear bushes, may have done the nuts up too tight when putting them in? And then need to raise up the front and lower the rear a bit, hope theres some bloody good weather coming up in the next few days, its been appauling the past week, hence no pics and no time to work on the friggen car
