    • Just put the rears in, didnt take too long, would have been quicker with someone else to help, trying to push down on the rear arm and lifting the old strut out proved to be a bit of a problem on my own

Damn does it feel good now though Sooooo much firmer and smoother on the road, deffinately not too harsh and with the new bushes aswell it handles like a dream!

Well worth the money (not alot really!) and I would highly recommend these to anyone upgrading their sus. Cant wait to go for a big hills blitz tonight

            • I'm interested to hear what you think of these in terms of comfort.

I always figured that coils would be alot firm, therefore giving a harsher ride. I want something nice and supportive, yet not too stiff that i'll shatter my bum bone when i hit a pot hole or something (I have alot of bumps/potholes on my daily drive)

So yea, tell us more about these coils!

                • Just took them for a good thrashing through the wonderful Adelaide hills, obviously sticking to the speed limits though *rolls eyes*

For coilovers, they are relatively compfortable, obviously you can feel all the bumps in the road and they are harsher than stock sus, but I find them fine. Been in alot worse cars with coils which would hurt after a while and make you feel sick after a long run, but these feel great.

I raised the fronts up as I couldnt even drive as the front lip sat on the ground this morning after they had settled a bit over night. Pulled the front lip off and went for a drive and it felt great, but scrubbed a tad on hard right hand cornering. Much better now its up a bit tho. Rears need to come down a tad more and maybe front up a little, wanna try and avoid the popo as much as possible, they dont seem to like me much

All in all, very very happy with these, would recommend them to anyone who wants a nicely priced and adjustable setup

Will get some pics tommorrow once the cars clean and im happy with the heights

                    • Nice Mk3! Especially for a uni student!

Love the coilovers and the fact it's a 4 door non VR6, I'd love to do the suspension stuff you've done on yours to my Dad's TDi, as I don't like how it handles compared to a RWD car.

Pulling out the rear struts is easy though, just need a spring clamp and it will all pull out without needing to touch the control arm, but I spose getting it in when it doesn't move much would be the issue?
