      • Haha they do suit your car nicely

Cleaned up the wheels and blew a coat of matte black on the bonnet, actually looks pretty good IMHO.

        • Pull the entire stereo system out, found a space saver wheel in the boot (original by the looks of it & was covered by a sub box/system).

Pulled all bar the driver seat out tracing wires. All the under carriage to the dash pulled out.

          15kg... 15kg of wiring gone!

Disconnected central locking and pulled it all.

Found a tonne of spliced wires that lead to nowhere so trimmed back to splicing for now, will cut and solder to make clean.

Made an epic mess of the interior.

          • Haven't seen your car for a long, long time. It's about time it was shown a bit of love.

Heard you are busy with a very intersting and powerfull build. Where is the thread so we can follow your progress. Paul has told me a fair bit about it.

                • Washed it. Having trouble finding a double sided tape that will hold the flares on now i've rolled the upper rivet points out the way, so now one in particular keeps coming loose at the top.

Pretty much only gathering parts for that at this stage, no point in starting the build with key parts missing. So when I do I will put up a build thread for it.

What I posted above is simply keeping the current built version running smoothly. When I start again everything will be coming out and about 5% will go back in.

Nice, can't wait to see what you are doing. Paul is very excited about the build you are doing. Will keep an eye out for that.

                      • Drove it to work and back with no dramas today.
Nearly forgot to fill up- lucky cause my fuel gauge shows it has a bit more than what's actually in the tank!

Still waiting for my strut mounts to arrive and then a lowering!

Bummed- I could have bought coilovers by now!
