Pull the entire stereo system out, found a space saver wheel in the boot (original by the looks of it & was covered by a sub box/system).
Pulled all bar the driver seat out tracing wires. All the under carriage to the dash pulled out.
15kg... 15kg of wiring gone!
Disconnected central locking and pulled it all.
Found a tonne of spliced wires that lead to nowhere so trimmed back to splicing for now, will cut and solder to make clean.
Made an epic mess of the interior.85' MKII GOLF GTI - GTI 85T - First cruise was 4000km in 2.5 days. It's Evolving!
