ive put that plastic thing under the carpet, im just wondering what piece of trim it is that goes ontop of the plastic cover, surely the handbrake has a gaitor
something fairly important happened today, got the gearlinkages back on, clutch cable connected. ive always thought that people were exaggerating when they said the clutch was heavy, sadly, they werent. brake servo reconnected to the pedal and the left driveshaft is in! right is going in tomorrow aswell as the headers and then its just the front end of the engine to put everything back on. done soon hopefully! But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. There should be a rubber/plastic cover for the handbrake to make it look pretty.1978 MK1 2.0 16v http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...-46488-70.html

if you dont do anything to the old pipes diameter its a very flush fit and using muffler putty as a grease it slides on with ease. But no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. People are like, "wonder what he does for living."

just wondering if theres any trim piece that connects to the centre console, theres a screw hole and a plastic extension piece thing that looks like it should connect to something
getting most of the interior in, i now have a front seat belt so thats pretty cool. i still think my favourite parts of the car are the speakers i wired in, basically because they werent there beforeBut no really, I like to look distinguished when I step out of the car. That hole at the back of the centre console is only for a screw to screw it to the floor. There aren't any other bits that go with it.1978 MK1 2.0 16v http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/foru...-46488-70.html
