      Glad you like it haha!

Most of my parts should be down around the 15th. Keen to finally get rid of my tractor spec height and chuck the coilovers in.

Where does everyone buy there carpet from? I did have a list bookmarked for a set on ebay for $90 but i messaged them and they don't make it for mk1 anymore. Found another company but they want almost triple that..

        wow...

After spending the weekend crawling around under the $hibox, I realise how lucky we are to have one with little to no substantial rust...

        This is a mammoth effort.

Have you tried All Car Carpets? or TST & Knox

if that tractor spec suspension isn't going to a better home, give me a yell, I'd like some spares to cut up for the rally.

Cheers for the links, the ebay guys did recommend the guys at Knox. Ill give TST a call tomorrow they look promising and alot cheaper too! With the suspension, ill donate you a set for the rally Know anyone in Brisbane area to pickup em? Otherwise ill ship em down when i get a job hahah

As for rust.. yes i honestly didn't see that much when i bought it. I guess i was to occupied on finally finding a 2door for so cheap. Plus i was leaving on holiday the next week and needed to make a quick decision haha Glad its all starting to take shape now, im quite proud to be honest

I just bought a carpet from Newton Commercial. Top quality and made in the UK. However, on the higher end pricing wise...
You're welcome to buy my old red one if you want its about 1 year old and I am only changing because I want black carpet

Cheers Eri, i rang TST today and they said they stock the 4 Door one, which i believe is almost exactly the same for 2 door anyway and its only around $110 shipped. So i think ill go with that. Thanks for the offer on yours but im not sure i want red

Little more progress, definitely only a small chunk but i thought i'd upload some pictures anyway. Started getting into the loom side of things! As simple and easy as it is, it sure takes a while to get everything in the right order and clean. Well worth the end product however. Bought 10mm split tubing for all the rear and little bits but also need to buy 20mm for the loom that will be running through the passenger guard to the engine/lights and also for the cables to the dash and cluster.

I diy'd up this grommet that will be taking the wiper/washer pump motor through the top firewall

Scored a mk3 booster and vr6 mc yesterday off Ben J (Thanks dude!) Welding the mk1 booster rod onto the mk3 one is all that needed to be done, the actual booster bolts up perfectly with the bracket. I did mount the whole system up along with the pedal box and steering inside and it all works.

If anyone needs the original parts and is Brisbane, come pick em up for free !

You do know you can replace the bar (and gazillion pivots and linkages) that goes from the brake pedal across to the master cylinder with a single solid bar? Gives a much more solid feel to the brake pedal and less moving parts to wear out/worry about.

Whats the best way to go about it. Got any pictures? I went and had a look and mounting on the left side doesn't seem possible as its abit to large. Interested in other options though
