It took me all weekend. I still have the driver side out, like you my drivers side needs a lot of the tlc. I've got a temporary seat in the car at the moment whilst I patch up the foam. You can buy replacement foam parts (found a company in UK) but it's another expense, cheaper to buy the foam yourself and fill it / mould it to suit.
As for the fitting, well the first trick is to get the old covers off, that's surprisingly harder than you would think. Then to put the new covers on took me about two days but be careful I ripped one and therefore had to patch it up (I was so mad😖
I also replaced all the steel rods and use cable ties instead of the stables to fix them back into place. I still need to do the door cards though!
Really pleased with the result but definitely worried about keeping the white clean... Maybe that wasn't the best call?..but I wanted it to be bright
