Cheers man, the hunt continues but there appears to be quite a drought of unmolested cars at the moment

So, in preparation for DOVW I finally got around to upgrading Volksee's brakes from the TSR big brake kit, which by the way does an awesome job, to THIS .

Finally she has some really good stoppers to go into every corner even deeper before hitting the anchors.

The old setup, MK1 GTI calipers with Pagid fast road pads and TSR280mm discs and spacers (250% improvement on stock 239mm brakes)

What lies beneath the rims now................ K SPort 6 piston billet alloy calipers and 286mm full floating hub discs

Carbon race pads, these things are going to be dusty but will bite hard again and again and again.

not a heap of clearance but enough

Still on the stands under covers awaiting a set of piston rings. Fingers crossed Aust post deliver today!!!!

That's some serious stopping power you've got.

How come you've got +ve camber here?

angle of the picture, steering geometry and hard corner rolling the sidewall slightly. Car runs negative 2 degree camber
