      Mate, you must have upgraded your lighting loom, they are the brightest headlights I've ever seen on a mk1 !

      Great looking car, I'm onboard with your taste in cars, I've got a 911 and 928 in my car future.....he who dies with the most toys wins !

                    Grant, yeah can you get a price for that and a 3.94, just a little worried that 4.25 will be a little too low on top speed

                      OK
                      3.94 = $390.00 US,
                      4.25 = $440.00 US

                      Either are + freight +duty if applicable.

                        Those are very nice throttle bodies. But the "bottom end" of it is 1800 16valve manifold which was just cut and holes drilled to fit the butterflies etc. But must say, very very nice. How much did those cost you to make? I am building a GLS Golf MK1 and would like to tweak the engine a little aswell.

                          Dont know why you say this as its nothing like a 16Valve VW manifold. look a bit closer...

                            Yes occasionally people don't look properly Grant and feel the need to comment. Since i was there when the manifold was cast and machined i would very much doubt the 1800 lower manifold cut down statement. The throttles are 100% bespoke mate and cost me a lot of time, if you would like to "just cut down the bottom part of the manifold and attempt to fit throttles by all means go ahead. The throttles cost what was fair and reasonable considering the time and power gains they will make.
