if all else fails with the RTA..

You just need to get the "previous owner" to give you a reciept,

i would but the car has no compliance plate, so they need to see previous rego info to check it.

                yep!

one other fun fact ahah i had to put the car over the weigh bridge today and it came back with a result of 830kg, with me sitting in it...don't know what the factory weight is, but thought that was pretty light lol!?

                  • ahhh so you can get that tag made up?

I was looking at buying another golf, but it was missing that plate, the one that has all the ADR's and VIN number, car type ect on it.
I thought without that, that the car was goner.

                    Good to know,

                    Good luck with it all

                            • That's how you want the suspension set up.

And congrats on rego. Just needed some people with common sense and some perseverance on your part. Glad you didn't give up.

                              • MK1's are awesome at three wheeling. My driveshafts jam against the frame up most steep driveways haha.
