I was just checking and this is the week your Rocco is born (Week 43) so you should be able to get all the details from your Dealer very soon... you can then do the ship tracking etc that the Golf R boys went through..

Hi, I have gotten a VIn number along with the engine number... How do I track this ?

Got another Update.... from the sales nadcom. the screenshots says that my car has completed and has arrived in the shipping port on the 21st of October.... (thats week 42)....

Just had an update from my Dealer... they managed to change an existing Allocation to Candy White and it is now in Production with an ETA in Australia of January 19th...

Unfortunately they couldn't add Dynaudio to the order so I will need to change my Sig..
Now to start investigating amp and sub hidden install to match Dynaudio set-up... as well as think about ordering a RVC kit from Germany.

I haven't been able to track it yet .... And even though it has been completed... i don't know how long it will take until the car is loaded and starts its journey here....

I guess they have to sit on the dock until there is an Australia bound ship... What other VWA products come out of the Portugal Plant?
At least the Golf R had reasonable numbers of other VWA products on the same ships so they were frequent.

What is your ETA into Australia? You should have a date... mine shows as 19 January 2012 and it is in Production this week.. Week 44.

But I believe delivery will take another 2 weeks... Geezzzz taking foreever ><

Just called the dealer for an update... And they advice even if the car is landed in australia early (early Jan), Volkswagen australia will hold all Scirocco until official release which is in February

So no scirocco until February!

I thought that might be the case.. not that it is going to make much difference to mine. With an ETA of 19 Jan plus clearance etc would have it as an Early Feb delivery at best... Sux for those with earlier build dates though.

I am waiting to hear from my Dealer on when they will have their Demo vehicle.. which will be before Christmas.
