I think if you pester hard enough, you might be able get them to order you leather seats as well. A dealer was able to order in Red Golf Rs earlier this year.

Criminal they didn't offer the Scirocco initially, then it's criminal they brought it out and deleted the 3 door Golf R, then it's criminal they don't offer enough options, criminal that it's not AWD, criminal you may have to wait a year, .....

Just waiting for the post complaining why metallic purple isn't offered as everyone knows that's exactly the colour any real sports car should be painted in - lol

Scirocco R spotted in Bowral

Followed a white Scirocco R through Bowral about 7.15pm tonight. WSC XXX plates so my guess its a VW company car. Highly likely as one of the VW Directors hails from Bowral. Looked like a Golf lights and grill in my rear view mirror but I was tossed by the VW badge on the bonnet until it went past me and all was revealed. Definitely an impressive looking car in the flesh.

Amazing that it's taken this long to get Rocco R's over here. Is it just a demand thing or do VWoA normally supply Europe first?

Nice one... with an ETA of Feb that would be a build week 45 or so. I saw on their system the ones due in December (Demo's) are week 42 and the later ones (later Feb / March) are week 49 builds.

Hi, I got a confirmation from my dealer that my Scirocco R is a week 43 build.. but my ETA is January.. is this correct ?

Pretty much.. This is Week 41, so Week 43 is the end of the month.. add 12 to 14 weeks for shipping, clearance etc

White DSG with sunroof .... nothing else (Can't really afford it)

Hope it will give the same thrill and exitement as my R32

Yup confirmed with the delivery scheduled and ETA arrival (early Jan)

Just ordered a black R tonight! Tough decision between RB and DBP, but went with black in the end. Making the change from manual to DSG too.. ETA is April/May 2012, bit of a wait but should be worth it
