            Has anyone heard from their stealer re Demo vehicles.. mine have not got theirs yet but they said some stealer's have them already.

              Sat in a Scirocco R today at the stealership. Looks great on the outside. Seats feel a little big compared with the Golf R.
              In the garage : 997 GT2, 996 Turbo, 2012 Q5 S-Line, DD - MY2015 Golf R, BMW S1000RR, On Order Porsche Macan S - for wifey.

                That would be because they are wider, lower and longer... not to mention FASTER

                That would be the car.. not the seats

                PLUS Scirocco R is one of 6 finalists in WHEELS Car of the Year.... VW Audi group have a good shot with Audi A6 and Skoda Yeti also finalists...

                  It appears that the Scirocco has the same seats as a Passat CC or R36? I could be wrong but they look the same. I am heading down next week to have a look at one. What VIC dealers have them at the moment?

                    Well I have a TEST DRIVE booked in for Thursday 29th with my Stealer in a RB Scirocco....
                    It was delivered to them today so is being detailed and plated etc tomorrow.
                    I will have to be satisfied with thrashing one around some race tracks in GT5 until next Thursday I guess

                        All stealers who are going to get a Demo car for Test Drive will have one now...
                        This came today....


                        Have you booked yours??? It will be interesting to see if there are any other colours than Rising Blue in the Demo fleet...

                          I spoke to our local dealer and they said the Scirocco's were purely teasers and VWA weren't allowing them to put them on the road and yeah the dealers had a choice of colour, but mine chose rising blue and it looks amazing - saw it on the back on a transporter a few days ago and let out a little squeal haha

                            Had a test drive of one yesterday.
                            though only a manual shift, car was very nice..smooth and deep growlly engine sounds better than my GTI. Suspension is acceptable.
                            only gripe is being to sit rather high despite seat at lowest setting and a high lip to the boot.

                              Well your Dealer is WRONG.. as shown by the e-mail in my post 3 above. They certainly are available for test drive... I had a quick spin around the dealership today (Car was not plated and they were about to have their Crissy Party) and I have booked Thursday for an extended drive. It is Rising Blue, DSG and they have tinted the windows... Pics will be happening as well...

                              I was actually quite impressed with the boot... considering. the high lip doesn't worry me.

                                Well in that case expect some Scirocco pics in my photography thread straight after new years, they already said they'd give me a sneaky play overnight or for a weekend so now they've got not excuse!
