  • I cannot code the RVC module, it gives error "coding rejected" does it require any security access or sumtheng to code it?

And what about the problem with 5F module: the parkpilot is currently not available"??
Any adaptation or coding to consider?

      • Try sa 20103 for rvc.
Yes there is adaptation required for park assist.
Take an adaptation channel map and post it.

          • Which input do you have your camera plugged into in the RVC module?
It still shows no video input.

Hello Kamold, Do you know the camera that fits my golf mk6 without using a converter adapter? Passat CC and Golf mk7 sportsvan cameras are compatible, I wonder if you have information about this?

If you are connecting to a Discover Media, then you can use an aftermarket camera like this:

                    • Hello Kamold I got my harness from the below link and I used it exactly as described by connecting the camera and module!!

Module is also purchased from this:

Still black screen for two seconds and then "the parkpilot is currently not available".
Any Idea on how to test the camera itself and how to remove the error messege from 5F module.

I'm sorry to bother you that much but I really spent like a week trying to find a solution but with no luck.

                      • Not sure what else I can recommend...your RVC module is not detecting a video input.
Seeing as your camera was working with the RNS510 you'd like to think the camera itself is good.
Without another RVC module to rule out your 7N0 RVC module all you're left with is checking all your wiring is correct.

                        • Composition Media / RNS510 replacement

Further to this and it may be a really dumb question...

Does anyone know whether I can use the existing installed microphone and wiring or do I need to replace it with the one that came with the Composition? I understand the requirement to use the new cabling for the CarPlay capability but wondering whether the wiring for the microphone is different on that header / connector.

Struggling to get VCDS to see the Composition etc which I need to program for Dynaudio, bluetooth etc. Is this because my CAN Gateway needs to be upgraded / replaced?

I just moved the existing blue header to the new block but I am wondering if there is a specific coding I need to use for the bluetooth / handsfree module that came with the RNS510 factory install.
Would the microphone wiring be different between RNS510 and new head unit or is it purely a coding issue?

I managed to get Dynaudio coding and fix the audio quality using the following:
                              Address 5F, long coding, byte 11 - change from 01 to 03

                              Address 5F, adaptations:

                              • Mic in pins on Discover are pins 1 and 7 on the green 12 pin connector block, same as it was with the RNS510.
Check your adapter harness that it has the pins being fed from the car harness to the Discover connector.
                                There is no coding required.
Make sure your old bluetooth module has been physically disconnected.
