Lol, one option was for adjusting the radio, two options one each for boot + loading screen, and then there's the "modle select" option. The radio adjustment option is obsolete and they figured there was no point in letting you choose boot + loading screen separately (why would you want VW boot logo and Skoda loading screen?) so here we are.

I always include the VW logo by default with my firmware updates, I receive the updates with the speedo boot screen but even if it's flashed with that boot screen you can change it back to VW in power logo settings. If you're saying the VW option is now a speedo boot screen instead of VW then someone's made a booboo at Audiosources...

I had the same thing when I flashed mine. And changed it back to the vw one no dramas.

Audiosources does have a new firmware version though I need to confirm if the radio issue has been fixed. The new firmware has some UI bugs from them changing the system resolution from 16bit to 32bit though so I am waiting on the fixed version that will be out in a couple of days.

From Jan25 they will be in chinese new year holiday . Don't expect for them to resume work till Feb10.

So I did a factory reset, then flashed to the latest release, did my flash take ?

My buttons still don't work, however I can get to the menus if I out the SD card in, go to input then hit the settings button.

When you select the car your driving, shouldn't the Door Cue show that car or is it always going to show a BMW?

Hope one comes soon, as my radio is annyoing me, not only do the buttons not work, its now suffering from random slow Downs and I can't even use the GPS due to the button issue.

That does look like the latest December firmware.

Audiosources is now on break for the Chinese new year, they will return on Monday 10 February - apologies as I forgot about this until recently. I will need to escalate the issue with their technician as soon as they are back. Firmware will have to wait till then too...

Just to clarify, did this button issue only start happenning after you flashed the latest test MCU from January?

I have asked about this a long time ago but it seems it's not very high on their priority list. I will remind them but I honestly have no idea when they will attend to this.

Correct, all was well till I fllasjed the latest firmware, even downgrading doesn't fix the issue

Sandy why did audiosources not get the firmware out before their year and a half holiday? Any update on the obdii module?

Anyone else have the mirroring module? I would like to see if others have the same brutal low resolution image for their phone mirroring.

Things that went wrong yesterday.
First thing, started car with door open.
Froze on door cue screen and muted sound.
Reboot.
Start car, muted radio.
Reboot.
Start car all is good, drive listening to SD and sound is lower than normal.
Usually listen on 10, 11 or 12 know it needs to be around 15 and up.
Then have that Monsum exe error come up.
Seems the longer I use it the worse it gets.

Well, least your radio still works! Could be worse, I still have zero buttons working, can't even power cycle the radio when the frozen white screen of death happens every time I start my car, also seems the more it gets used (when it does work) the worse it gets for system lag. The thing is like a ticking time bomb. I'm getting embarrassed to have the thing I my car knowing now much was spent on it.

Best of all, its a in dash navigation unit, and I can't even use the navigation system in it as you can only access it by the non workin buttons.

Just had a new problem.
Using SD and after the first song had played and went to the next song I ended up having no wheel controls, very laggy unit controls
and could not do anything with the unit buttons but I could skip to the next song on the screen.
Rebooted several times and it kept happening.
Then it just stopped doing it and started working as it should.
