hello.
I have the upgrade v 41 and I get the constant failure "munsun.exe"
using ipod and find a folder.
with passing radio and ipod again and the fault appears.
came a new, m audiosouces upgrade but they said they do not charge it is worse.


as can be that these "engineers" .... need many attempts and still does not fix this?
we are paying for a team that is not cheap.
if it is our fault for not buying things that are not tested.

To set the time on my DNS I have used in the Navigation section:
Settings > then extra menu > right arrow > GPS Hardware > Synchronize Time.
I believe this uses the Satellites to then set the time. The Satelites know what time zone you are in from your location.
Seems to work for me!

Had mine installed today into my MK5 GTI. Looks pretty good!



Questions:
-Does RDS work?
-How do I activate/setup Sygic?

If you got it from Sandy then you need to email him for a code to activate Sygic or whoever you bought it from should be able to help.
To turn on RDS go to MENU, FUNCTION SETTING, RADIO - it obviously only works on FM not AM.

Are we supposed to be able to see artist/song name somewhere?
I've turned RDS on but can't see anything.

The only thing I noticed different was the station identity changed from a Frequency to the station name changig. I do not listen to FM in the car. I have not noticed artist/name information on mine. Possibly does not work.

Hi all...I've tried reading through the thread, but it's hard work, so please excuse someone who has been on the forum for a while, and ought to know better for asking a few basic questions.

My wife has a MkV Golf GT TDI. We've decided to upgrade it a little, if we can, and it is cost effective. Navigation is one of her requests, along with easy iPhone integration, including streaming. Her car currently has the basic VW (Parrot?) UHV Bluetooth.

So I'm interested in this unit, and would appreciate some answers from those with the experience. I'm assuming the best unit is the DNS 610

1. How easy is it to fit and configure?
2. Is it easy to operate? My wife is quite technically ept, but if things are fiddly, I'll wear the consequences. It needs to be easy to play a radio station, change between AM/FM, switch to iPod and select playlist, switch to Nav and set up destination
3. How much does it cost, and from whom do I order?
4. What is service and support like?
5. Any bells and whistles people have found worthwhile (eg, reverse camera)?

I know all of thise is somewhere in the thread, but finding the latest is hard, so I thank you in anticipation.

not make the same mistake.
do not buy this equipment.
at first it will seem all ok but you're going to rankle with the problems that occur.
to me they sent me a alctualisacion after 44 attempts and I lock the computer.
as they do with so many faults ....

I have the DNS-810 installed in my 2007 Eos - basically the same as the MkV Golf in the dashboard. It does all that I need and has worked extremely well. It looks reasonably EOM. I got mine from Sandy - send him an email. It is a very easy install.
