Hello all.

Excuse me is there a more clear Mirror Link functioning explanation of this device? Can we make a list of compatible phones? I am not very clear about this feature and would like to know if it likely to function properly or not....

I just got a new firmware from AudioSources, i haven't tried it yet, but comparing the dates on the files, it seems newer than the one Sandy posted.

I have flashed it on my DNS610.

Issues:
• Random freezes
• Random failures at boot
• Next/skip while NAV in the foreground still laggy
• MDF not working at all
• Loudness is not working.

Pros:

• Now when you turn the car lights on, the screen brightness is reduced by itself.
• No pause/Mute when reverse is engaged



I'm really dissapointed with this Unit, it seems to be worse than the ANS610....

Seems matiasg85 and I have been screwed over by getting the dns610.
There hasn't been an update that works with it.
If I don't get an update that makes it more than a radio with blue tooth in the next week I
will be asking sandy for a refund I think.

Looking at the software info, i'd say they're still building it for the 810, so probably explains why you're having a hell of a problem with the 610.

Looks like it's a few days newer than the one sandy last uploaded, will give it a go and see how it goes on my 810.

The pros you listed were fixed in the one sandy listed anyways. Screen brightness always worked like that though. Loudness has always worked for me etc.

Would be reeeaaallllyyy interesting to see how many people are left in the group buy, looks like people are dropping out every day.

I was speaking to an AS representative, and they told me they are still working on the firmware for the DNS610, i might wait for theirs. I will post it here once i have it.

Build codes say they are still 810 though. Meh. Will probs just wait for the updated firmware as per Sandys post from tonight.

Hello guys I'm new here, I live in the US and I wish I would have seen this post a few weeks ago, I did a lot of searching for a new radio for my Mark V and I had narrowed it down to the Eonon unit and the audio sources one. The videos I saw on youtube about the DNS and ANS units sold me completely, especially the fact that they looked OEM. Well enough about that, I am currently actively talking with the rep that helped me from LSQ Star. I will keep you all posted if I get anything accomplished.
The problems I am having are
1. Ipod controls do not work well at all slow. freezing ,wrong tags,doesn't show everything on iPod, and doesn't show playlists
2.Having the same gps sd card problems as most of you
3. Bluetooth audio has a tingy distortion to it, kind of like a speaker crackling sound.
those are really my main concerns,
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If only you had found this thread, would have saved you a lot of pain :p

As far as i'm aware, pretty much all other issues (such as implementing the music library function) got put on the backburner to fix the CPU/SD issue. Noone is sure when/if they'll fix it (hopefully the next incoming firmware will help, but who knows).

Nothing we can really help you with man, we're all facing the same issues, matter of firmware fixes. Just gotta wait.

Not sure about the GPS issue as I keep the audio for it off, but I have the same issue with Bluetooth audio and it has persisted from my initial unit to the replacement that I got (for this exact problem) so its not just yours.

Yeah, people I talk to via bluetooth always tell me the can't hear me. I end up turn the Bluetooth volume really high and lean in closer to the unit. Not sure if volume controls the Mic volume too?
