Hi Sandy,
Will the "delayed features" as below be included with the new batch of production units?
Full three-line MFD display (currently only one line)
MFD navigation display
ID3 tag-based music library (currently folder-based, but is capable of shuffling across folders)
better iPhone integration (currently basic and missing memory of song / position on shutdown)
OBD2 module

MFD has been static as with other CAN-Bus features, apparently their CAN-Bus engineers are in Germany working on the Golf 7 CAN-Bus. ID3 tag based library is more or less complete but the software engineers ran into an issue with the unit freezing during the scanning phase (with ID3 tag library all files and ID3 info need to be scanned and remembered in a database). They're working on resolving it at the moment. iPhone browsing should be resolved with the ID3 tag library, and OBD2 module is on hiatus though I have something up my sleeve I'm hoping to work out with Audiosources...
The new batch of productions units have been shipped, I should receive them around Wednesday next week.TR 08 Golf GT TDI, Custom Code Phase 1, Milltek Exhaust, Whiteline RSB + ALK, APR Carbonio Intake

Any further updates for the DAB+ module?

Hi Sandy and all, greetings from the UK!
I'm here to join the discussion/support/testing of the DNS-810 - I received mine from audiosources last week following a lot of browsing on this forum, and have installed and performed initial testing of 2 units - 1 in my Mk5 Golf GT Sport and one in a friends Mk6 GTD so I will hopefully be able to offer some useful insight and answers to questions some of you may have (and I'll probably have some questions of my own along the way)
Audiosources warned me before purchase that the units software is still 'pre-release' and has bugs (as this forum indicates you all know all too well already) - Of interest: my unit shipped with a newer MCU version than I have seen mentioned but the older (stable) MPU - I have updated to latest March 2014 MPU but didn't touch the MCU.
Sandy - the test MCU you mentioned in the spreadsheet - is this the version as seen on my unit below or have I got an even newer version straight from the factory?

Hi Guys, Have been patiently waiting since November but really needed GPS/Bluetooth in car so bit the bullet and bought a 8" unit for my Mk6 Golf from local guy in Brisbane (instyleauto) who came to my house to install. Similar price to DNS unit and quite happy with it so far.2009 Golf VI 103 TDI Comfortline DSG

Production DNS with the march firmware working great so farStill has the various bugs in the spreadsheet (at this point, apart from the SD playback bug and missing features (3 line MFD etc), they're just minor usability or UI things).... but so far it's solidly stable.
