I have been privy to some background with the "AVC". From what I have learned, there is no better item than this one. Rob from Auspack did his homework on this.....and full marks to Andrew for his efforts so far.

Got my AVC9000 from Auspack.

Had everything in the box.

Fitted perfectly and works a treat. DVD's sound great but there is a hissing in the background so maybe earthing the body of the device will help remove this. Not terribly noticeable but could be a little better.

The volume steering wheel controls work but track selection does not. Expected this.

The mp3 playback from USB is great and the navigation works well. Though I might upgrade to Tomtom rather than route 66 if someone can show me how in perth.

All up well worth the money and sounds better than factory unit when playing music.
