I also have got only Route66 and TomTom. It would be interesting for me to look what is the IGO about because I have no idea what is it What does it do better than TomTom? Always used before TomTom. Have tried routte66 and it is not good. Currently I'm using TomTom.

Does anyone use bluetooth? I have found interesting effect on mine. Sometimes it keeps the volume level for bluetooth different from volume level on radio. Has happend several time but I still can't figure out what are the conditions.

And also have found another bug: if the USB in use and a call accepted by bluetooth, then after that the unit doesn't return back to the USB mode. I need to unplug USB and plug it again.

I don't know if I should get a Parrot 3200 car kit ready to install at the same time as when I put in the AVC9000. I would like to test the AVC9000 first but if its crap for bluetooth, I will need to pull apart the dash again to put in the Parrot.

i tried using the TV antenna by fixing it to the windscreen but it looked average and reception was not very good. i have since removed the antenna and left the wires connected (can still get some reception).

What TV antenna did you use?

Before you look at the Parrot 3200, have a look at Parrot's new MKi9100 device, which they just relaeased.

Its seems a bit overkill for my needs. I use a 3200 now and its great. Wont need the music capabilities as Im getting the AVC9000 anyway.

BTW, I have read somewhere (don't remeber where exactly) that AVC9000 doesn't work with parrot. Is this right? Because I had bluetooth fitted by dealer and it was Parrot (don't know which model)... When I installed the unit I removed this Parrot hoping that the bluetooth in AVC9000 is ok... But I was wrong.

If I could fit Parrot along with the AVC9000 I would be really happy

If your Parrot uses the steering wheel button only (ie there is no seperate Parrot button), you most probably have the CK3000 kit.

The 3200LS kit doesnt interface with the steering wheel phone button at all. Therefore there is no reason why it wont work with the AVC or any other head unit. The reason the factory bluetooth wont work with the AVC is because the AVC takes over the steering wheel control button.

You can wire the Parrot 3200 independantly to power and speakers etc or you can buy a sperate adaptor cable that plugs into the VW quadlock connector.
