    • So I can not work out what I am going wrong I have saved the file using internet download manager and comes up with on 1mg of data. I try and burn it as a data disc on nero and it does not like it. I save it directly to the PC I get it coming up it has 641MB of data I save it it only takes a second to save and still only has like 1 mb of data when I try and burn it with nero 10. I have now tried downloading it like 10 times and no luck ...

What in hell I am doing wrong....

      • Try burning it using a free program called ImgBurn.

Select 'write image file to disc' within the program.

But this is provided you have downloaded the whole 641MB iso file properly.

Can't really help with ID10T fault codes.

                • That might be the case.

But like I said ... only get excited if you can actually get your hands on it.

Besides ... probably won't be much of a revelation when you get a message that M4 up ahead is fcuken jammed.

                  • though its only a small minor addition - i like the speed limit display showing on the top right now
would've been even better if it gave a warning if i went over the speed limit by a preset amount.

                    • Doesn't the MDI already have a speed warning function? Might not help on every road but you could set it to 100 or 110 (plus however much your speedo is out by)

Then again maybe it's just a VW Golf thing???

i'm not talking about that one - i already have that, n use it.

i'm talking about a "dynamic version" that use's the rns510's map speedlimit display reading to set the speedlimit warning on the mfd/maxidot to match accordingly.
for example, u drive into a 60km/h zone - map shows 60km/h. the mfd/maxidot will set the speedlimit warning to 60.
u then turn off on into a 80km/h zone - map shows 80km/h. the mfd/maxidot will automatically increase the speedlimit warning to 80.
the road then becomes a 50km/h zone - map shows 50km/h. the mfd/maxidot will automatically decrease the speedlimit warning to 50.
all this without having to press anything while driving!!
u could set to b always 0-10km/h above the map speed limit.

wishful thinking.....i know. but wouldn't it b nice???

i'm using v5 on firmware 2724. that's the same as your 2720 firmware.

                          • You only need 3xxx series firmware if you want to be able to use custom POIs via SDCard upload, and picture destinations with Navsynch.
Plus a few other little things like speed improvements on newer units (above C revision).

I knew what you were on about, but figured the feature you wanted wasn't there, hence the alternate suggestion (which I don't use).

Plus it would be really annoying if the data was incorrect (two people have already found at least one error)

Hold down the SHIFT key when you click the little down-facing arrow. Your machine has a cached copy of the file (which is incomplete) and the SHIFT+click will force it to download a new copy.
