I tried 215/45/15 on our own kamei car this time around on the 9" rear wheel and will definetly go for 225 next time around though the price difference is silly when i looked around.
It gives a slight stretch and the tyre wall is a bit higher up though we are comparing that to our 8" front wheel with the 205 on.
I chose the 225/45/15 for it's rolling diameter which works out the same as the stock 185/60/14 so I cold keep with the existing gearbox ratios I'm used to.
I'd baselined to 8" rims due to class restrictions and the issues I've seen with other light weight cars not being able to get sufficient heat into larger rims/tyres.
