I had an alignment when i got new tyres at 30k and there were no issues. It's not in the manual either. Sounds like a dealer wanting return business for over servicing.

Re wheel alignment and ACC, I might ring a few independent skoda/vw shops and a couple of dealerships, I'll keep you posted.
Yea I agree the ACC / ESP needs to know the wheel angles...Last edited by HPRS230; 16-01-2017, 08:56 PM.

Universal Short 30cm Right Angle Retractable Micro B USB Data Charge Cable
And if you're a USb-C user, buy a 3 pack of these, I couldn't find equivalent cord in USB-C:
3 Pack micro USB to USB-C Adapter
I've also had to buy a lightning cord for my wife's phone, purchased from Superskoda since some of the cheap ebay ones didn't work.
Very expensive but guaranteed to work, I'm sure there are other options out there.

You will need one for your apple phone though, but Officeworks has the same cable for apple.MY16 Skoda Octavia vRS - Moon White Metallic, 19 Black Pack, Comfort Pack, Tech Pack, Sunroof.

Hi guys. I'm interested to hear from others who have recently put some new rubber on their rims.
I've got stock 19" xtremes with 235/35 p zeros fitted that need re shoeing .
I'm not overly keen to get the Pirelli's again, so hopefully others can suggest a good replacement

Spotted a red 'limo' in Kew last weekend. Easier to spot with the red spoiler than the combi's.

I've only done about 5000KMs so far with not a lot of heavy rain, but I'm happy with them so far. In doing a bit of research it seems they used to be standard fit on cars like Porsches, Astons etc.MY16.5 Octavia RS wagon, manual, Moon White + tech pack + 18" black pack.

What do you have against the Pirelli P Zero? I've done 16k on mine so far and found them quite good. The grip has seemed to improve with age. A tyre that is OEM on some pretty high end cars. To quote CarAdvice "Since then, Pirelli has achieved an impressive 1000 homologations across a range of vehicles that include high-end marques such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche. Some of the more famous models include the Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Centenario, Pagani Huayra and now, the entire Formula 1 line up.
Homologations are important for the company, as they represent a tyre that is designed to be part of the engineering process for a new vehicle. Despite only being launched recently, the new P Zero has already been equipped to production versions of the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, Ferrari F12 tdf, Mercedes-AMG GT and the Porsche 718 Boxster."
I find them very quiet and I get good fuel economy too, no issues with wet grip either.
Cheers,

Hi guys - disconnected the battery in the car and the window auto open / close one touch feature has been disabled
With previous cars it has been hold the button for a set amount of time to reconfigure, but doesn't seem to work with the Skoda?
Have checked owners manual, but nothing in there either on how to reset?
