Whats the adaptation info? My wife's O3 Ambition plus has the button on the wheel and Bolero but ir was a $50 dealer option to have voice commands. Mind you, it's not that great on my Columbus.
Glad you had a good experience with them mate. Unfortunately my dealings with them (for fixing the warranty oil-cooler issue) were not brilliant and I doubt I'll be taking the car there when it's due for it's first service.
I guess all service places win some and lose some....
I only went there because I needed the phone button fixed on the steering wheel (software update)
I haven't gone to the dealer for servicing since Prestige and Performance opened their doors years ago
I figured a standard service can't go too wrong for them. It also helps that I live only 5 min away and the bus goes directly from there to my home.
I'd still prefer them over the other Skoda mob in Brissy... but I do hate dealing with warranty issues. I had a lot of issues in my 2011 Caddy including ignition barrel, DSG (twice)... nightmare

You must live close to me, got a mailbox drop from prestige performance the other day and was going to have a chat with them re scheduled service
Good to hear some positive feedback about them [emoji2]

Something I just assumed was normal, but never actually asked. When I'm in a quiet place and drive forward, there is a quiet clunk (probably not the best description) that sounds like it comes from the drivers front....the first time it did it in my underground work carpark, I thought I had driven on something like a paper cup. BUt it does it everytime I drive forward about a metre. You can't hear it outside on the street. It does it at the same point each time, so figured its something kicking in, but never thought to ask if anyone else hears it. I don't hear it when I reverse out in the morning, but it might do it when I drive forward after that.
I am due for the first service in late April, might ask them about this, as it happens everytime. Whatever it is, its sounds like it should be doing it. BUt only happens when moving forward and after moving about 1m. Also found recently after telling them from new that the drivers height adjuster is ****y...that it really is stuffed, my seat goes down way lower than they told me it does
Have booked the car in at skoda next Friday to suss the water issue. My coolant warning light came on this morning though, not sure if related. Anyone have any experience or knowledge of a coolant level and water in drivers footwell?
The service manager is also going to raise the Bluetooth concern with Skoda Tech Vic rep.
Turns out it is a blocked AC drain. Waiting for replacement on Monday.
Has anyone recently used an independent service centre in SE Melbourne? Looking for somewhere for my 2nd year service, not keen on the dealership.
Options I've found are Volkspower (Burwood) or Volkscare (Boronia)
I'm taking mine to Peerless Auto in Lyndhurst this Friday - 30k service (2nd year), and first one at an independent. Will let you know how it goes. Other places that were recommended is DubAddiction, in Clayton, and FastStuff in Mordi.
If you do end up going to Volkscare, let me know how it is, as it's a lot closer to home than Lyndhurst.

I have my first service coming up later next month. So far on my list are a few things:
-Rattle/creak near drivers pillar, guessing its the usual fuel line, but the rubber creaks a bit as well. Had hoped only my Mk2 would have that issue, so looks like Gummi Pfledge will get more use.
-Clunk type sound when driving forward after first starting up. I have a manual and when I reverse out in the morning, just after I start moving forward I hear a sound coming from I'd say under the bonnet, not necessarily a bad one, just something seems to make a sound moving forward. Doesn't do it in reverse. When I drive forward out of my carpark everyday I hear it when going home after a metre of so of moving. The first time it did it, I thought I ran over something.
-Drivers seat heigh adjustment, took it in for this way back and was told that the seat doesn't go down any lower. It sure does, so something is jamming the mechanism and has from new.
-Power tail gate. When using it on a steep drive recently, I noticed the door will drop down without wind or anything, like bad gas struts. It hit me in the head twice, it won't completely close or anything, but after going up will drop slowly about a foot. I would have thought it should stay up really.

Hey woofy.
I had very similar issues to you in my last service, and sure enough the fuel pipe was the door strip on the driver's side causing the rattle.
I also mentioned that clunk in forward gear but got told it was something like the hydraulic brake hill start thing.
Lastly, the power tall gate has been a pita the whole time since ownership. The hydraulic struts have been replaced twice now and I have new ones waiting for me as they had to back order done during the service.
I'm interested to hear about your experience when the service team advise about the clunk in gear as personally I'm not convinced with my story

Oh mine has been doing that and the struts look like they are leaking

Well, I have just finished reading all 1182 messages in this thread.
Finally, I can sleep.
Thank you all for a very interesting read! Very useful info.
We broke something, I think it was traction… – Carl Edwards after getting spun out by Dale Jr. at Michigan Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary… that’s what gets you. – Jeremy Clarkson There’s no secret. You just press the accelerator to the floor and steer left. – Bill Vukovich Oh, and I have a little white toy called a RS230.
I have done about 1200klms in my RS now, and I notice there is a small rattle in the drivers B pillar.
There is also a very distinct lack of interior ambient lighting, and I miss it greatly as my 04 A8 has both led mood lighting with customisable options for it. Made the interior feel very special at night.
Has anyone locally tried adding footwell lamps or ambient lighting to the doors?
The other thing is, my kessy system managed to lock itself with the key in the boot in my bag. I have the power tailgate and it is meant to pop itself back open (I haven't been able to repeat this self locking). It was a real problem!
Anyone else have this occur?
Mike
