Is this 100% guaranteed? Cause it's very different to what I heard on the news the other day.

Was walking to the car and rolled the windows down with the unlock button and a bloke chased me down and was amazed that the car was capable of it haha.

I'm pretty sure my 1998 MK3.5 Cabrio could roll the windows down off the aftermarket alarm button. It definitely did it off the key in the door lock

My parents 98 Nissan maxima did the window thing as well.

it's called global unlock an most euro cars have had it for 10+ years. It's a pretty cool feature! (does sunroof too if you have one)

I think the rain sensor winding the windows up when it rains is a cooler idea.

It's not coded on mk3s is it? I'm sure I read on briskoda that rain closing had to be coded, and I know it was def on my mk 2 rs.

I'll have to check when I get my car if all models that get the RLHS (rain, light, humidity sensor) can do rain closing std.

It is definitely a feature on mk3s, I have seen videos of it. Here is one, admittedly this is a Superb.

Actually took a while for the windows to activate in that footage. Your car would get reasonably wet if that much rain also came in through the windows.

It's not actually enabled on the OIII, it needs to be enabled through VCDS. There's a thread on Briskoda detailing it. I must get a cable and enable it on mine.

^^^ that's what I thought. I'm sure I read it - obviously not that hard to do if you have the cable, but annoying if you dont have access to one or someone to code it.

That's weird, it was on by default, is there a reason for it or can we just ask the Dealers to do it for us.
