In relation to insurance you really need to be confident that if your car gets stolen, damaged or written-off that the service you receive is going to meet your expectations when you make the claim and if something goes wrong after making the claim after all that is what you are paying for.
I have been very happy with both Youi and Budget Direct in this regard and the pricing has been pretty good.

It's already off the boat! They would have to shell the port of Brisbane to get it. If they did that, the boats would be on the bottom of the sea as fast as the superhornets could get there from amberley. And there would be a lot more problems to worry about lol.

OCTAVIA III Owners discussion thread
Just got this pop up on my screen and beep! Just before I stopped behind a 4WD, could it have warned my that the Front assist was working or about to? That I was going to hit it and or going too fast towards the car?

Looks like you have a new version. I don't have that exact screen but I do have a screen that pops up when I'm not slowing down fast enough and there's a vehicle up ahead. I'd say thats what it is. BTW Here is a link to all the manuals for the Octavia III, you'll find yours referenced there in the manual for cars built from May 2014.

After the first-of-the-season Christmas meal out we cruised back home across town and got a few more green lights than normal.
18 kilometres averaging 46 kph (mostly 60 kph zones), the consumption was 4.2 l/100.
We were doing better than that but had to pick up our dog from the retirement village. I thought that was a reasonable effort for a petrol wagon.
My best cross town trip in the old 1.9d was 13km with fewer lights and no diversion to the retirement village and got 3.5 l/100 .
