Nope..... Wonder what their dead pixel warranty is like..... Probably like most LCD manufacturers, 3 or more, within a certain space. Dead pixels suck, once you see it you can't unsee it....

But the thing is, this dead spot only comes up with this outline of the car.

Speedo, or l/100km or Phone calls or the Sat Nav - there is no spot!!

Also, on two occasions I've had the Auto Boot struggle to open... I think it's because the car would have not been active or unlocked over night or for many hours and the battery got a shock when I remotely opened it... So I would advise to unlock the car with key first THEN open boot remotely.

Yes! I thought i was the only one! You gonna take it up with the dealer MJ?

I found when opening using the centre console button, you have to hold it for a couple seconds. If you press it quickly all you hear is the clunk of the lock disengaging but no movement of the boot. From the keyfob i have no issues.

In the new year...

Honestly it doesn't bother me and think if I look into it and get it replaced it'll start a whole new issue with the car... and so far(t) the car has been faultless - except the boot clonking..

Yep that's my fear too. If they start opening up the dash, they'll probably cause more problems and introduce rattles and whatnot.

Can anyone please tell me how can I find my odometer reading from my car?
my2015, Octavia RS DSG liftback, tech pack with RVC, sunroof, 18" black pack, leather seat.

there is not key hole for the key, it's kessy within the tech pack. I only can find long term distance, since refuelling distance, and since today's distance but not the distance from the day one out of factory!!!

Well, believe or not, I've read the manual 3 times on page 31 and fig.27. but the B reading is not the odometer, it's ACC speed. This is very strange, i've tried to turn ACC off and it still doesn't show me the odometer. I know it sounds very strange,,, maybe I am just missing some thing here.....

Yes, turn acc off and it's where the set speed is once the acc is off. That's how mine is anyway!

If that dead pixel is bothering you, how will you cope with a scratch?
