Emailed my sales dude, looks like you can not order the comfort pack parts individually. You have to order the complete pack, anyone else find this? Doesnt seem right as they list the parts separately.
Candy White RS Wagon 162 TSI Manwell. 18" Black Pack, Sunroof, Tech Pack.
Ordered: 22/09/14 - Built: 14/11/14 - ETA: 31/01/15 - Delivered 03/02/15
Just rang dealer for an update on delivery, and if my car hadn't been built yet that I would like to add comfort pack to the order. He then hit me with a dilemma. My car had indeed been built and awaiting shipping ETA late DEC14 or add comfort pack to a car he had in the system for Nov9 production and Feb15 arrival, what to do? Well I've decided that I've waited this long another 2 months wont kill me. I was going to add aftermarket heated seats anyway at a cost of $800 so the pack is great value for me, just hope there are no further production delays!! Also I am wondering if anyone knows if the electric seats in the pack include the 4 way adjustable lumbar support like Audi and Passat, I asked the dealer and surprise surprise he didnt know. I'm hoping it does as I've driven a Passat with this feature and really appreciate the tailoring of adjustment it gives me (I'm 6'2") and have a sore lower back. If not I'm still happy with the value in the pack for my needs. Anyone on here know if its 4 way adjustment? I have tried to google images but no answers there.
Scott.

Would you want to risk further delays? I wouldn't. Car for Nov 9 may not be frozen yet I suppose, since they could still add the comfort pack.
Ordered (Mid-sept 2014 / Picked up, end of April 2015): Metal grey Octavia RS TSI hatch (MY15) | DSG |18" black pack | sunroof | tech pack | comfort pack
I hope I've made the right decision, but i think in the long run i would not reget getting what i want. Also as a side benefit i get a 2015 compliance plated vehicle, this just makes the decision a little easier.

Sounds like you will be making someone else happy that is waiting for their nov9 car.

Skoda tell me delivery January now, slipped from December "but anything before that is a bonus". I'm sorry, I'm not understanding enough to see the joviality with which that was delivered because I'm relocating from Sydney to Melbourne at Xmas! Patience evaporating.

LOL. That's was the "good news" the dealer emailed me with. 2015 build, due March !
Compliance plate means squat. Build plate is what it goes on. So if it's built in Dec, then it will always be a 2014, MY15 car.
GTR I dispute this. At least in Victoria the build date is almost irrelevant, Vic roads records the Australian compliance date as the date recorded in their system and printed on the rego papers. I know this because I make my living out of selling used cars.

Come trade in, dealers only look at build date. If they are selling to you, they go on compliance date. Always in the dealers favour.
^^^^^This and always this. I always ensure my build date is near the beginning of a new year.

I'm not meaning to be rude, there ARE good salesman and dealers around. You need to have a look at whirlpool forums for the sheer number of people who have been burnt by the above to see how big a problem it is.
Makes it hard when Skoda takes 6-8 months to deliver a bloody car.

So if I come to you with one of the last of the previous Roomsters that was built in 2009 and sat in the holding yards for 24months & complied in 2011 you'll treat it as a 2011 vehicle? (there's a few Golf convertables out there like that too).
I've been in the same boat & the dealer swears blind that the build date is what is used for trade-in purposes. (but I'm sure they would use the compliance date for selling purposes)
Also, when I insured my current vehicle the insurer was quite specific that they wanted the build date (2007) and not the compliance date (2008 ).
