New Octavia ....when? How Much?

Just noticed noone mentions window tint. I forgot completely about it with my RS, and intended to get it done myself with my last car but that guy doesn't have a lot of love for VAG cars as he pulls trim off to install (Rob at Ringwood tinters). What have people in Melb been doing?

He did a great job at a very good price. No issues with taking door trims off. Not sure if he's done any of the new shape Octavias yet.

I can't work out why you need to take off door trims.

I get mine done (3 cars so far) by a graet guy in Sydney & there's none of that happening.

Second Brett from Vision Window tint, I have had numerous cars done by Brett, he is happy to do what ever tint you like including 18% on all my cars. He did an awesome job on my wifes Jeep SRT the 18% tint matches the factory privacy glass plus he tinted the panoramic roof to give more UV protection. He is a perfectionist highly recommend.

Have they decided to add folding mirrors yet?

I have checked out the My15 RS wagon and sedan at BB Skoda Mt Gravatt and they do not have Puddle lighting in the wing mirrors.

What pack includes Puddle lighting?

The reason may will be that the front door trims design make it very difficult to install the tint with the trims on the doors.

Skoda AU has added the comfort pack which includes folding mirrors, electric memory seats and heated leather seats.

Not necessarily. Elegance gets full leather std, and foot well lights and I'm sure other things that the rs doesn't get std. (Puddle lights in mirrors too)
