I doubt it satisfies # 2 as if he uses stainless it will probably be 304 or maybe 314 or 316 (304 is cheapest). The OEM exhaust appears to be 304. For the environment you wouldn't want more than 0.25v anodic difference. Plain carbon steels are 0.85v, aluminium is 0.95, Stainless is about 0.6v - so maybe / maybe not.
#3 - it's an exhaust. It might be a bit wet under certain conditions but in use it will be dry.
I've seen enough exhausts where the front pipes are MS & the rear pipes are SS and galvanic corrosion hasn't been an issue so it's not something to worry about IMO.

Adaptive Cruise Control.... I cannot believe this technology.
It's simply the best. Amazing.
My RS is amazing...
I had work today - I'm a photographer and do a bit of driving. Got the chance to drive out on Mundaring Weir Road, up in the hills of Perth - newly layed tar as well. Windy roads, smooth as.... smoooooooth. Car drove great. Sunroof open, RS mode.... I couldn't be more happy.
I think most of my posts will be like this![FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]Matt

I'm also contemplating this: (unless there might be a full front car bra avail in Australia... or cheaper than the linked one below this one)
Octavia III - hood leather protective cover V1 : superskoda.com
or this?
SKODA Octavia Mk3 2012 BONNET BRA STONEGUARD PROTECTOR | eBay
But here is a larger one but it doesn't have the hole for the ACC radar in the front bottom grill....

Thanks for the update on how good the ACC is. It was one of the must haves when I was shopping around for a new car so it is good to know the technology works so well.
Regarding the car bra there is also an Australian manufacturer. Their website indicates they do customisation so they would be able to accommodate the ACC radar. Here is the link to the site:

I would only put it on the car on longer/country/distance drives.... keep it off for city driving.
On freeways i've had bad experiences.
First few days of having my Polo GTI - I drove south down the freeway (two lanes in same direct), silly big rig in front of me, spat out some stones! Front spoiler lip, paint peeled off, nice chunk of it! Was devastated!
The last week owning my Polo GTI, went out 45 mins in-land. Again, not so wide of a road, big trailered truck drove past me, I pulled over to the side of the road - stone chip on the SIDE drivers door, high up under window near mirror. CHIPPED!
And sand has done the same on my old car.... not happy. So a Bra would do on longer drives. City, not so much[FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]Matt

As my wife says, "the black jock strap would only be worn when going long distances into the bush, she would not be seen dead with it on the car in the City".
While not aesthetically attractive, it is a cheaper option than the vinyl wrap, at least based upon the $1700 we were quoted to cover the bonnet and front bumper/fenders in clear vinyl. I have a plastic bonnet protector on the leading edge of my current car and have a nice big stone chip in the middle of the bonnet where a stone flew over the top of it. Nothing is perfect but something is better than nothing.New Arrival: 2015 Skoda Octavia vRS TSI DSG Combi (MY15) | Black Magic Pearl| Tech Pack with RVC | Comfort Pack | 18" Black Turini Wheels | Auto Boot | Panoramic Sunroof | Chrome Pack | Alarm | Extended Warranty Ordered 31/05/14 Collected 6/6/15

Yes, just before I left to the USA dealer said we have to start the warranty ASAP (a month before I come back) so she can hold onto it more until I return, but I wasn't sure about the extended warranty - but dealer did the extended warranty! So yes, I have it and happy about it![FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]Matt

Do you mind confirming the price was $1100 as June has quoted us $1690. Given we are buying every option except Black Packs, I think she could do better on the price.New Arrival: 2015 Skoda Octavia vRS TSI DSG Combi (MY15) | Black Magic Pearl| Tech Pack with RVC | Comfort Pack | 18" Black Turini Wheels | Auto Boot | Panoramic Sunroof | Chrome Pack | Alarm | Extended Warranty Ordered 31/05/14 Collected 6/6/15

Do you mind giving me an idea of what price you were able to negotiate for the extended warranty? You can PM me if you don't want to publicly publish and I certainly wouldn't quote names at the dealership, I just want to save a few $ as the wife is already shopping for accessories e.g. car bra, side-body protection, LED upgrade to fog lights. She even wanted the silly looking headlight eyebrows from Superskoda Octavia III - abs plastic eyebrows AGRESSOR : superskoda.com but I had to veto that one, along with the Red leather handbrake cover. Just too much pimp for our ride; well when it finally gets here.
More importantly, how is the car driving now you have had it for a while. Would love to read a bit of a review if you get the time.New Arrival: 2015 Skoda Octavia vRS TSI DSG Combi (MY15) | Black Magic Pearl| Tech Pack with RVC | Comfort Pack | 18" Black Turini Wheels | Auto Boot | Panoramic Sunroof | Chrome Pack | Alarm | Extended Warranty Ordered 31/05/14 Collected 6/6/15
