      • these r the wheels i WANTTTT!!!
unfortunately, at the rate my missus is scratching the current neptunes, it makes me cringe at the thought of her scratching these!!
i'm gonna have to buy her another car with which she can scratch the rims, before i buy a set of these.

            not sure.
i think they're VMR wheels - 710 to be specific.

            • so a heafty package arrived at my place today - 35 sq ft Sound Deadener and FREE 35 sq ft underfelt.

any tips on removing the carpet above the wheel arches....the sidewall part?
the spare wheel area and under the rear seat is simple enough.

Ah maybe! There are quite a number of manufacturers with this kind of design, I thought they were these:

IIRC, the top is held in by the hatch seal & the bottom is kind of wedged in there. You'll work it out once you start.

35 sq ft is like 3 sq m? You reckon you'll need all that?

I find that after doing the rear (in timber floor underlay), it acentuated the amount of noise from the front tyres. If you can do something up front in the wheel arches you'll notice the difference.

will to the rest on the weekend.

i've used 2 (out of 10) sheets sofar. planning to put some under the rear seats too, along with the carpet lining felt.

                          Nice work!

Of course you have to take the photo while you have the engine cover off - before you cover them up again....

p.s. you need to update your sig file

correct, I don't have an aftermarket intake - still stock.

I prefer it with the engine cover on.

Ah, I couldn't see the rest in the last pic.

I wish my intake setup was like that- makes it ridiculously easy to just chop the tube near the front to turn it in to a pod and box setup but diy (cheap)
