Have you been to Paris? Almost every taxi is an Octavia. Take note Melbourne.

True, but even Maserati, Ferrari, Bentley, et al are a dime a dozen in London. So much more exotica over there.

They don't buy 300Cs much in the limo services bit either for the same reason. I'm 6'1 so leg room in them is ok, but even in Falcons with workmates its always squishy in the back with three of us and none are fat, or hugely broad shouldered.

Won't be going to Paris, but went through Stratford-upon-Avon today and every taxi I saw there was a Octavia.

The wife is getting the ****s because I make sure I point out everyone I see. Theres not that many back home in down town Dapto.

HAHHAHA yes, Fixed that Boo boo... Guess i've loved the Octavia it was second nature to use the name.
Late Oct early Nov for my delivery.. only due to the Current lease ending around Nov.

I used to see Skodas (sometimes) but after ordering one I haven't seen *****. Not 1 in 4 weeks! Feel like I need to advertise where I'm going to be and have people from this site drive past just so as I can post on this thread to say I've seen one!

I would not worry about it.
I have done 15,000km mainly in the Melbourne metro area since Christmas and my car hasn't been "spotted" once on this thread. This week alone I have been to the airport, Hoppers Crossing, Mentone, Ringwood, Kilsyth and the CBD as well as around the Scoresby/ FTG / Dandenong Ranges areas. Don't take this thread as an indication of the numbers of Skodas actually on the road.

BTW. I have seen three Octavias this week all pre FL models.

Funny - I would have thought I would have seen yours by now, we're in Knox area as well, and nobody's spotted us yet either.

I have seen yours (I assume) in Burwood Highway heading east at Lewis Road. I thought I had posted that but maybe I didn't.
If I'm at Knox I usually park on the third deck or roof of the multi story car park.
