Went to Steve Jarvin Skoda (my dealer) to have a look at the Superb Combi. Geeze it's fabulous! The only faults I have with my 2008 RS is that the interior is a bit dated but that's where the Superb takes off. The leather, OMG! Soft, supple and very smooth - real improvement over the RS seats. The radio is all coloury and everything is nice and very high quality (despite the dash plastics being a bit hard and the handbrake not moved over for RHD). I WANT ONE! Also, there were quite a few people in the dealership (customer wise). A 60-ish year old couple had just ordered an Octavia Scout DSG, another couple were looking at a black RS liftback and a family had just walked in as we were leaving. Of course I had to offer my two cents to all of them!

On spottings, just a few Octavia wagons cruising around. Good week!

Drove down to Wollongong today, and saw an Anthracite FL Elegance wagon at Coalcliff facing South, then a Yellow pre-FL vRS heading north around Wombarra.

Left home later than planned (grr to wife and son playing computer games), so traffic in the national park by time we headed through. The cars in front of me weren't totally granny in the way they were driving, but I only had to use the brake twice from Wottamolla turnoff south through all the normally fun stuff - gee 3rd is versatile in the TDi!

Tuesday night saw the same dark grey RS liftback (number plate rstrbo) heading Nth on Elgar Rd near the Riversdale Rd intersection (Box Hill Sth).

Good weekend so far. I parked at Harvey Norman at Fyshwick and came back to see an Octavia wagon parked next to me. Today, I was at the lights on Athllon Drive and saw a blue RS wagon at the lights directly opposite me.

Saw a red FS Octavia parked on Station St Fairfield on Friday night outside the Japanese.

Cycled past a guy getting into his black pre-fl octavia wagon on Wilmoth St Thornbury this morning after dropping his kid(s) off at Thornbury Kids child care.

The Bayford guys lurk on here, maybe ask them from here directly. I find in general most dealers are pretty poor with email, as are the HQs of places, they tend to want you to call.

Saw a different one today, a Subaru Liberty wagon with an Octavia badge added on the back, still had the liberty badge there as well
