bobski, that was me!! sorry mate, my wife spotted u coming out of the shell servo, and I was concentrating on getting my 3 yo daughter to stop kicking the back of my seat when you screamed by (love that acceleration!!) and tooted your horn... so my apologies mate.
Not too many of us around is there? Don't mind it that way actually, I get plenty of stares from passing motorists, as well as from those walking by when the RS is parked... it attracts attention that's for sure, whether because it just looks so damn good or whether, like most people, they scratch their heads thinking 'What IS that?" I'm not sure... either way, I'm smugly satisfied in my knowledge that it's a bloody fantastic performace bargain that can double as a daily family chariot.
I actually caught a bloke having a good walk-around my RS when I parked it at the Lennox shopping centre a few weeks back, as I approched I could hear him ask his girlfriend "What is it?" with a puzzled look on his face, then he takes a closeup look at the badge on the front and says "Skoda?" with raised eyebrows... I smiled, hopefully having educated another Aussie about what they're missing out on.
It might be sad, but i still check here regularly hoping someone has spotted me.
so far, I am disappoint.
It could happen to *you!*
RSOK, I've actually had a lot of interest from golf GTI owners on the roads. Generally they seem pretty laid back (I've never noticed them being overt before - and wanting a GTI for years, I can pick em from a line-up), but around the Skoda, there's the odd one that feels the need to show off
It will be the Bluetooth kit. The same thing happened last time they ran this promo. The Bluetooth kit they supply requires the steering wheel controls that the manual VRS and Roomster don't have.

Yeah, figured. Could probably put the asterisk next to "blue tooth kit" if it's not included in the promo.. I imagine they won't turn someone away because they can't get the bluetooth.
